APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Apply one coat of product to a small, inconspicuous, clean and dry test area. If Lifeguard Low Sheen does not produce results in any way which are not satisfactory, discontinue its use and contact a Lifeguard Customer Service representative. The finish should not be tacky. Wait at lease 24 hours to determine compatibility.
Allow at least 48 hours of drying time after power-washing.
Be sure to mask off glass, plastic and metal. Protect plants, grass and other materials by shielding or covering.
Avoid application on DIRTY OR WET surfaces Do not apply to previously painted, sealed or stained surfaces. Protect freshly coated surfaces from dust, rain and traffic while drying.
LIMITATION:
Do not apply in direct sunlight, when the surface temperature is below 50°F or above 80°F, or in windy conditions.
Allow new mortar to cure for at least three weeks.
Do not use on porcelain or ceramic tile.
DRYING TIME:
Allow at least 12 hours for foot traffic.
24 hours for water exposure.
72 hours for vehicle traffic.
CLEAN UP:
Lifeguard Low Sheen cleans up easily with Lacquer Thinner.
Equipment must be thoroughly cleaned after use.
CAUTIONS:
Lifeguard Low sheen is slippery when applied. Keep all traffic off the treated surface until dry.
Concrete pavers may contain an integral mold release agent. A white haze can appear after application.
Absorbent substrate may wick moisture or water from the ground, causing efflorescence and discoloration.
Treated surfaces are slippery when wet.
